Let me guess which two loses you are talking about.........Lance Palmer and Bubba. No you are referring to the Minnesota Messiah Dustin. I think they may trade matches. Otherwise Metcalf 4 for 4 this year.

I don't know if Lance has enough on his feet to beat Metcalf, of course I said the same thing about him last year in reference to him All Americaning, and he went and finished 4th.

If Bubba has his cardio right, which he seems to, I could see him hitting a big move early, and then snagging points here and there to hold on at the end.

The two guys in the Big 10 that I could see winning the grind it out tough matches over Metcalf are Schlatter, and Churella. Both are great at getting their points, and have great defenses.

Dustin is obvious, but Churella wrestled 36 matches last year, in 29 of them his opponent scored 3 points or less. Dustin isn't the only guy in the Big 10 who's tough to score on.

I'm still interested in seeing this version of Metcalf, the last time I saw him wrestle folk was his "flying headbutt" match against Dickey two years ago.

Apparently Metcalf is wrestling with "controlled aggression" this year. Not out of position but wrestling with a mean streak. Wrestling like a cross between Brands and Schwab.

BTW I was being sarcastic about Palmer and Bubba.

I think Metcalf will trade matches with Dustin and Churella all year long. I will need to see the first "go round" and even then I think that the wrestlers will be adjusting all year long to each other's styles...

I don't think Metcalf has beat anyone of significance. When Metcalf has the run that Dustin Schlatter had two years ago when he went through the Top Five within a two week time frame, then I will talk about him in the same breath as Churella and DS who have gone and done it.

I think Caldwell gets himself out of position going for something and Metcalf either catches him for some big points and keeps scoring, or sticks him. Don't see this one being very close.

Metcalf. Also, for the rest of his career, the only loss he could possibly have is Schlatter.

Its only fair, we DID hype Schlatter just as much. Thats okay the Metcalf fans can only get disappointed from here.
