Schlottke, Im having a lot of trouble making posts here everytime I click on reply or new thread the page comes up and then after a milisecond the box will turn grey and not allow me to type, the only way I've figured out to get around this is to keep refreshing and maybe 1/5 of the time it will work properly

For ex-wrestlers this is truly the best holiday of the year...how many of these f%cking holidays did we sit around licking spoons and drinking water and eating lettuce...a tip of the cup to all my wrestling lads!!!

My senior year, our first meet was the day after TG and my family took off to celebrate TG without me............they took all the spoons and lettuce with them leaving me along with my rubber suit. Much nicer now!!!!

one thanksgiving i snuck an entire container of cool whip and ate the whole thing thinking "its really light, it can't add much weight at all!" were we really that stupid back then?

brian kemp used to have a whole little debbie store underneath his bed...unbelievable... my senior year i weighed in at 119 and made it by about 2 minutes...when i got done i wolfed down a Whopper w/ Cheese that had sat in my locker for like three hours...i threw it up less than 5 minutes later and and the whole time I was so upset because I was just remembering how good it had tasted...LOL

I sat back down and my little brother (our 103 lber that season) looks over at me and asks if I just pucked. I just kinda smile and nod yes. Our 135 lber looks at me and says with a mouth full of pancakes..."That's groufs!" and everyone continues eating unaffected. There was NO WAY we were going to miss out on that meal I guess. Sorry to go all nostalgic, but the Whopper story brought me back. Happy Thanksgiving weekend to all. Gotta work a bit in the office today, but will be in Iowa this weekend. Gonna "shake some trees" to see what is new there for wrestling.....keep this under your hats...word is that Metcalf kid from Michigan has some potential.  | |

Our season end reward was our coach taking us to a smordasbord right after the season ended for the last of us........... You'd see a 95 pound grow into a 120 right before your very eyes!!! :-) Ya.......we were dumb, but that was the way things were done 40 years ago. I visited with my coach a couple summers ago and I think that he was still feeling a little guilt about the old days.............. Hope nooneis hanging over a garbage can tonite..............
