    Default Joe Colon, A Panther...Again

News just broke on panther nation that Joe Colon will be back with UNI next year.

He's expected to go 133 (even though I'm the lone holdout who thinks he's best for the team at 125).

With the above said, I've waited for a long time to see Colon and Ramos go at it, and, yes, they will this year because the two teams have resumed their dual with one another this season.

Considering Colon's style, he can definitely make a good go at Ramos.

Good to see him back in action, was that technically a redshirt year or did he lose eligibility?

I never can understand how any of that works, but I think that he lost his entire junior season, simply because he was kicked off of the team.

I do remember reading the initial article when he was kicked off where Schwab said that, "he's welcome back for his senior season."

I'm a little sick to see Wolfensperger have to sit though (assuming that Colon does beat him out). He's too good to be out of the lineup, and he's one of my favorite Panthers to watch.

I can now anxiously await Herkey taking Joe with his 2nd overall pick in fantasy this year.

A word of heads up to Herkey: Colon will still be under the same team rules for next school year.

(As a side note to that, many thought that it was a grade issue that got him kicked off, but it was an attendance issue).

Hey, Colon was a great pick last year, cause I got him cheap. If he wasn't such a partier he would have scored me many points. He's a bonus machine. Having said that, I won't get burned again.

Glad to have Colon back, he's a very exciting wrestler to watch. Hope he's got whatever his issues were last year (don't know, don't care since it doesn't seem to be illness or family issue related) straightened out.

So who is Jade Rauser that teched Colon this weekend? That's an impressive win, especially after watching Joe handle Cory Clark with ease in the 3rd place match.
