I have nothing to back this up. I am only going off of what I've seen on flo.....Chance seems like a prick. Maybe he interviews bad or maybe he is and it will help him to be a bit cocky. I don't know. But I predict a Grajales-like college career for him.

I'd be stunned if CM sucked like Grajales. I think he'll be strong, and maybe make the finals 2-3 times. Watching him this year, I don't see him going 4 straight, though that's always harder (I think) for upper weights.

Wasn't Grajales like 200+ and 0 in HS? He too seemed like a no-brainer recruit. I'm not saying I'm right, just going with my gut.

I'll eat my hat if Chance is as disappointing as Grajales.
To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.

Grajales is from Florida, CM is from PA.

Don't want to be too much of a dick, just sayin.

Grajales did a little more than wrestle in Florida. His prep bio from the Michigan Wrestling Roster page is below...

"Graduated from Brandon High School (2009) ... Named South Region and Florida recipient of the 2009 Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award ... Named Mr. Florida as the state's top prep wrestler ... Garnered the Tampa Tribune's 2009 Male Athlete of the Year award ... Four-time Florida state champion (2006, '07, '08, '09) and five-time state finalist ... Career prep record of 217-0 and, adding seventh- and eighth-grade results, went 292-6 over six years ... Named the Most Outstanding Wrestler at the 2009 Dapper Dan all-star event ... Two-time FILA Junior World team member (2006, '07) ... Claimed fifth place (55 kg/121 pounds) at the 2008 Greco-Roman Senior Nationals ... Four-time Fargo Greco-Roman national champion (2004, '05, '06, '08), earning outstanding-wrestler honors in 2006 ... Also named the 2006 Junior Greco Wrestler of the Year ... Two-time FILA Cadet Greco national champion (2004, '06) ... FILA Cadet freestyle champion (2004)."

Then why say something like that about a 17 year old if you have nothing to back it up? AFAIK, it is still okay to not say everything that comes to ones mind.

Interesting info on Grajales. I only knew his overall HS record was ridiculous.
It looks like the was more successful in Greco than Free (not that he was bad at free, just better at the other), and the only folk result listed outside of Florida is Dapper Dan, which means he won one good match.
Maybe his focus on Greco is part of the reason for his relative lack of success in college?

It is merely an opinion and a prediction. That is what he asked for. If I'm wrong, so be it.

Flop, I get the Pennsylvania reference and it should make a difference. I just didn't like what I saw in his matches and interviews. Like I said, just a gut feeling.
