For this week I think I will take my lumps unless I see a verified report that TN is having surgery. As yukiyama said on the other site, this sort of thing happened last year and everyone was saying he was done and all that, but he only missed a couple meets.

anybody wish they had Ness now? I hate to sound cocky but I will take my chances with Ness against Gardner and Escobedo for a National Championship...that being said there are still a boat load of good 125 lb'ers out there.

I have Nikko Triggas to dangle if someone is looking for a 125...

I spent a year-and-a-half straight in physical therapy (not for shoulders) and the overwhelming majority of patients I witnessed were rehab'ing shoulders. I'd rather suffer with knees and hip problems than shoulders, that's for sure. At least I can sit relatively painfree whereas many of the shoulder patients must adapt to some sort of napping discomfort all day long. I can't imagine having to wrestle with a wrecked shoulder either. I hope he can fully recover so it does not interfer with his life, on or off the mat.
As the recipient of two shoulder surgeries I concur that rehab for shoulders is not fun, especially for wrestling. It changed a lot of the way I wrestled and I'm sure it'll take some time for Troy to figure out what he can and can't do with the shoulder. I hope it's not as serious as dislocations and he can get back at it as soon as possible.

Good thing I didn't buy into the Nickerson hype.
