It was a good match. On their feet, Howe was the equal or even slightly better. Howe forced a stalling warning about a minute into the match and later scored a takedown on Gillespie. On the mat was where Gillespie took it to him as he does most college wrestlers.

Howe definitely is going to be fun to watch wrestle with the college kids full time next year.
I will smash your face into a car windshield and then take your mother, Dorothy Mantooth, out to a nice seafood dinner and never call her again!

Tell me about it, this morning, I woke up and I shit a squirrel, but what I can't get is the damn thing is still alive. So now, I've got a shit covered squirrel running around my office and I don't know what to name it.

Thats truly saying something. If you know, was the TD off something Howe did offensively, or did he counter a Gillespie shot?

Impressive job by Howe regardless losing only to Gillespie, and to Becker for 3rd.

Howe's takedown was the result of his constant pressure. He was in deep a couple times early in the match and Gillespie scored a takedown on one of his patented low shots.

Howe controlled the action on their feet.

Howe had a pretty good day wrestling with the big boys and showed he could compete right now if needed.
