125 seems top-heavy compared to the other weights in the conference! Sprenkle the #4 seed!

The NCAA allocations look about right to me

125 has some guys who can make some noise at NCAAs. I'm not saying they'll be knocking off McDonough, Megaludis or Delgado, but anyone of those top 4 could AA. Rauser, Cox and Martinez can be inconsistent, but when they're on their game - watch out! I'm really hoping Sprenkle can grind out an AA finish.

Both Rauser and Sprenkle did their high school wrestling in Montana. Sprenkle was very talented and obviously did well in high school, but no one dominated like Rauser did (including the Zadich brothers) in high school.

I just can't help but think that Sprenkle walks through this weight class this weekend. I'm not sure how Rauser beat him this year(did he?), but I do know that Martinez pinned him, which doesn't always tell us much about who the dominant wrestler was (see bout sheet for Lazor/Evan Henderson from Midlands).

I don't think Rauser and Sprenkle have wrestled eachother yet this year, but Rauser did beat Cox and Martinez who both beat Sprenkle. Martinez did pin Rauser earlier in the year, but Rauser avenged that loss a few weeks ago. My guess on order of finish for these guys is 1. Sprenkle, 2. Cox, 3. Rauser, 4. Martinez. Sprenkle seems to struggle with quick, athletic opponents who have good freestyle skills - like Cox and Rauser, but maybe he can pull out some of that senior magic and get the job done against these guys. He may win the tournament, but it won't be easy. I agree that the Martinez pin of Sprenkle was probably a fluke.

Martinez was up 6-2 when he stuck Trent. Martinez gassed badly against Rauser and lost 6-5 on a last second reversal . Cox just beat the hell out of everyone-THAT pin by Martinez was a fluke.

I know so little about Martinez, but it sounds like he's the kind of guy that could bring a big upset or two to nationals.
