Thread: Evans Kokesh

    Default Evans Kokesh

Evans beats Kokesh 9-6, that is easily the best match I've ever seen Evans wrestle. Evans gave up a cheap reversal during the last five seconds of the match, he was in control otherwise. Really good effort.

    St. John beat Brown too.

As usual, Iowa wins the big matches.

Evans should have gotten back points right at the end. Evans really could have majored him.

Now can everyone calm down about kokesh? Soared up the rankings beating very few solid guys.

Same goes for Andrew Alton honestly. As much as I like his potential all he has done is pin fish

Do you get paid to make these things up? Maybe you didn't watch the match.

Evans and Kokesh each have 5 top ten wins. Let's compare their common opponents: Kokesh beats Blanton 8-3, Evans squeaks by 2-1. Kokesh beats PSU Brown 10-7, Evans 4-3. Kokesh takes Storley into sv, Evans loses in regulation.

I don't think that you can rely on CHA magic next time they meet.

    I just don't see it...David Thorn is not elite. I don't think he'll place"

what about the time last year when Evans tech falled Kokesh Jammen? Was that CHA magic as well? Fact of the matter is Evans has Kokeshs number. Kokesh is very good though as well.

Carver magic? It must be hard to be so bitterly against a team that you have to cling to idiotic cliche's to explain and discredit a wrestlers victory. I watched the whole match. Kokesh looked fine for a period and then gave points away. No magic. The better wrestler won(again). I'm not discrediting Kokesh. He is tough, but he doesn't have the wins to have earned the ranking he was given on several sites.

Evans TF'd Kokesh at Nebraska last year Jammen. That darn Delaney/Devaney (whatever it is) Magic works for Iowa too, I guess. The manner in which you express your hate for Iowa makes you look very pathetic.
