Illinois really has a shot to win this dual at this point. They must be wrestling really well.

Always nice to see Caleb making Kentucky proud. Be on the lookout for John Fahy next year at 149. He is probably better then Caleb

St. John is just so solid in every position.

Delgado is a terrible match up for McD, even worse so on an hour weigh in. He's the guy I've feared the most all year.

Ramos methodically worked his way into position for bonus, and thenpulled out the big pin.

    Ballweg was uninspiring...at best.

No points for Grothus on that throw? He put Ervin on his back and held him there. Should have at least been two. THat said, Ervin was the better wrestler and demonstrated it throughout.

DSJ worked Nora, but I was only half watching, so I can't comment too much.

Moore lost a close, but never really in doubt match to Polz who's defense looked solid.

Evans with a workmanlike 2-0 win (E1 + RT) win over Blanton where he was the aggressor the entire time, but not TD.

I would've given Grothus at least two from that, but you couldn't ask for more from Ervin in regards to defending that. At least the ref is being consistent in awarding takedowns.

Lofthouse with a solid but unspectacular win over solid but unspectacular Tony Dallago.

Mario Gonzalez was semi embarrassing to watch, the referees swallowing the whistle was even worse.

    Evans won 2-1.

    I just don't see it...David Thorn is not elite. I don't think he'll place"
