Big win for Wisconsin! It hurt UM not having Jackson at 141. Is UM's Collin Zeerip the same Zeerip that wrestled 157 for them last year? I would have thought he would beat York. Things seem to have broken Wisconsin's way. Things seem to be slowly turning around for them.

Wisconsin was missing their starters at 125 and 184 as well.

Wow, some big wins I didn't necessarily expect. Colin Zeerip is the third brother in the Zeerip clan to wrestle at Michigan. The best one from last year that looked like a baby ape graduated and the middle one is redshirting or injured. Big wins for , Kelliher, York, Liegel and Hein. Didn't expect Cousins or Cox to get beat that bad. Matt Kelliher was supposed to wrestle at 125. Maybe Cavallaris beat him in wrestle off. Awesome win for the Badgers! Next year's squad is going to be stud!

No, I get the feeling Cavallaris was a last-minute start. A few days earlier Coach Brandvold posted the starting lineup on their forum and M. Kelliher was at 125. No one has said a peep about why he was pulled.

There was some mention that they didn't want Matt Kelliher to come back until he was fully healed as well. Not sure what his injury was. Anyone know how Kelliher and Cavallaris compare talent wise?

Nope. That's Collin who is in at 157. Brandon Zeerip was at 157 last year and took a med. redshirt this year. Collin is the youngest of the 3 Zeerips; not quite on par with Brandon, who is 1st on the 157 depth chart for Michigan (Collin is like 4th).

What happened to the Lehigh transfer for Michigan at 141?
