I think its just the sheer margin of victory. I mean 52-0 over a B10 team? When was the last time that happened? I know wisconsin got shut out a few times last year pretty badly, but I can't remember the last time a B10 team gave up 50 or more points in a dual.
i look at IU's line up and see duca at 133 2 years ago down to 125-Murphy slotted at 141 and at 133 and Roach(a very good wrestler ) at 149 last year now at 141-
This team is as bad as I've seen and couldn't beat off! The 149 (Richey ) went down in the opening dual(a tough kid) goldman went down the same dual (not B1G material anyway)-so WTF are these guys killing themselves to beat the scale ? Stick zimmer in at 125, move Duca to 133 , move Murphy to 141 roach to 149 (his natural weight ) and get through a season without 1/3 the team quitting ?
I mean dickhead had a 255 lb hwt cut to 197 and then doesn't bother to take him to a dual ?
Indiana high school wrestling has grown so much in my lifetime -EVERYTHING in Indiana still revolves around basketball -yet at the high school level We've seen so much progress in both the quality of the kids and attendance and dedication to the sport over the last 3 decades !
All i'm ranting about is everyone saying Indiana doesn't care about wrestling is BS !! Dickhead may not care yet I'll bet my left nut PennState does NOT shut out Purdue .Hinkle would kick a wrestler in the teeth if he rolled over the way IU guys do.

This is why I asked the question about Murphy's cut to 133. He has to be unbelievabley sucked down at that weight. When he was in high school I thought he was a 141 from the start in college and maybe even moving up another weight class before it's all said and done.
