As a PSU fan, we were pleasantly surprised by Conaway's result at 133.

I thought 157 would be closer. Nice job by Alton.

I really think all the speculation on Lawson's long-term potential being greater than Gingrich's is based on high school hype. Gingrich is only a sophomor and went 21-4 last year. He appears to be a very solid all around athlete himself and is only getting better. Lawson has been impressive for only being in the room for a short period of time but I wouldn't sell Gingrich short.

That is pitiful. 52out of a possible 60, guess it could have been worse

    I thought 133 ,141 ,157,and 285 were winnable or at least -Murphy was 15-5 ,Roach 12-5 (2X Flo champion) Walsh and chalfant.---close
You know, I think I would rather be a man than a god . We don't need anyone to believe in us. We just keep going anyhow. It's what we do.

I got to the match just after 125 started and by the end of 141, I could only think one thing- IU has to fire Goldman. My apologies to any Indiana fans who still like the guy, but it was bad to watch (and remember, I am a fan of the team that won). Megaludis definitely broke Duca, which isn't all that surprising, but it looked like Duca was moving in slow motion when he went over. Even after the pin was called I couldn't really believe that had worked. Worse than that was Murphy. Conaway (we don't think) is anywhere near Megaludis right now, but Murphy looked like he didn't want to wrestle after the first period.
Pearsall is decent on top, but I was surprised that Roach kept letting him lock up the same cradle.

It looked like their guys just absolutely packed it in for the first three matches. After that, it got better. I realize that there were more pins, but AA is a true pinner and Ruth was no surprise either. Dylan's match with Walsh was pretty good. BUt otherwise, they just looked like a team that wasn't ready to wrestle.

    A couple other thoughts:
Taylor looked like hell walking on and off the mat, so I'm guessing he is pretty sick.
Forfeiting a weight seemed unusual, especially since Wright isn't really a Kilgore-like animal that can break people, but I'm guessing they felt it was necessary.
My favorite part of the night - Chalfont was slowing down in the third, as they were walking back to the middle after an OB call, he made a fist and punched himself in the jaw. Gotta love the self-motivating face punch!

I am worried that Dylan couldn't ride Walsh at all. Okay he got the RT point but that was b/c he had 5 TDs. Walsh was up & out usually with 10 seconds. I am concerned about that.

Leblanc looked like he took a page out of Dake's book & was backing up the a lot. DT finally imposing his will with his hand control & got the tilt at the buzzer to get the Bonus. Liked that!

Couldnt believe DT barely majored Leblanc..

    Agreed. He definitely wasn't himself.

Like I said above, watching him walk to and away from the mat, he looked like he felt terrible. He looked like himself for about 90 seconds of the match. LeBlanc did nothing other than tie up his elbows from neutral, but it was enough to nearly shut down the whole match.
