So much for another one of jammen's expert predictions. Steinhaus followed it up with a win in the other marquee match up over Ihnen.
Gophers won 27-7

speaking of 174's -Fausey sticks Gambrall and Heflin wins in OT against Gabel ?
You know, I think I would rather be a man than a god . We don't need anyone to believe in us. We just keep going anyhow. It's what we do.
Where is Ness? Struggling to get to 149 or dinged up? If he's struggling why not out him out there at 157 as we works his way down?
"Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until they speak."
If he's heavy and he gets an official weigh in at 157 then there are rules that limit when he's able to get back down to 149.
As to whether he's banged up, who knows?

Storley takes zero shots in regulation, OT starts, quick shot and match over.
Go Hawkeyes.
Not the first time he's pulled that out at either the beginning of OT or end of regulation against tough kids.
Would obviously like to see more offense earlier but living dangerously seems to be working for him.

Don't know where Yoces heard or read it but he said that Ness may be having back issues. Maybe Kr told him.
Also, Gambrall was pinned in OT. However, he's still the same Gambrall. Slow and inactive.

Steinhaus vs Inhen was interesting. Inhen put a fairly tough ride on STeinhaus in the second for a little over a minute. Then got away in around 10 seconds in the 3rd, but they didn't synch the riding time clock up properly and so manning protested. Upon review they ended up giving Inhen EXACTLY 1 minute of riding time, which meant he would win 2-1 if he could hold off steinhaus.
Steinhaus pushed and pushed and pushed and hit a sick duck under with 5 seconds left to win the match. He's one of those guys where he can be down in the 3rd period and I still have a feeling like he is going to win it
Gold is an idiot.
Guillotine says that Ness has back issues.
