    Default Hokie open

    Hokie Open

Pretend I did not type this yet I believe IU has 3 finalists -Walsh,LeBlanc,Chalfant and possibly Sheridan-LeBlanc is healthy and comfortable at 165 ,Walsh might have been making a tad too much of a pull to hold 149 last year and Chalfant should just be chained up somewhere -Adam is scarey strong . Luke gave up a reversal with 2 seconds left to hinton last year which cost him an NCAA berth and he has gone from an upper body freestyler to having decent mat awareness.

Zac Richey was my state champion i coached this year. He held his own with the Duke starter. Hope he notches a win. Hes only a true freshman. Toughest tournament hes ever been in.

    Some interesting results.

Soto rallies off the loss to Snyder and beats Jarrod in the finals 10-9

Carter beats Henderson down 16-7, he has a foreign guy from the Citadel (figure that) who's name I'm not even going to try to spell in the finals. Citadel guy beat Neibert

dammit shane-that kid was my first pick in the supp-Mongolian national champ and lost by a point to Carter !!
IU has 3 seconds-Walsh 5-6 to winston ,LeBlanc 0-8 to Yates and Adam .Murphy is kicking butt -lost to Spjut 4-6 then won 4 Duca with a surprise 4th and Sheridan ffts one match then places 6th .
