Default Kokesh to 174 --- Is this new?

Kokesh wrestled at 165 pounds last season, but moved up a weight class to 174 pounds for the 2012-13 campaign
    I hadn't heard this.

He didn't seem that big at '65, strange.

I wonder if there are any other quality but non-title contender 165's who decide to get fat and go after Perry rather than staying at 165 with Taylor and Dake.

    Asper and Kokesh make two

Maybe you should see him before guessing. Kokesh is really bulked and dwarfed Koehn. Right now he's my top pick at 174.

    I just don't see it...David Thorn is not elite. I don't think he'll place"

WTF are you even talking about? My use of the word "fat?"

Glad to hear that he's gotten bigger, but given that Chris Perry lost a grand total of one match last year he's the clear favorite at the weight especially when you consider that Kokesh wasn't even an All American last year.

There were rumblings of this on other boards, but nothing definite until now.

It make sense........Dake/DT are just so far above the rest of the field. Reminds me when Herbert(2nd) and Perry (3rd) went from 174 to 184 and 165 respectively to avoid Baskren and both won National Titles.

He did lay an asskicking on Koehn ( a really decent wrestler ) Koehn split with Heflin last year .
