The visits I'm talking about just took place this past weekend.
I figured as much, just talking about other guys who've committed for the Goph's.
You got a problem with that?;)
even though they are projecting at higher weight classes, deichtler and mason = lawrence and becker...that would be fantastic...they can go at each other in the weight room and get ahead of all of their competition at their weights...
if thats true, thats a nice feeling for gof's fans as i felt the cupboard starting to get a little bare after next year.
HE CHOSE THE GOOD GUYS!!!!
Ryland is an ex Blair kid who moved back home to Scappoose, OR. He won state last year, Jr National Champ in Greco, Dual Cadet national champ the year prior and would've been a Jr FR AA, but injury defaulted out after going 2-0.
that is a NICE and unexpected pick-up...
You gopher people gotta be lovin this halloween.... Spooooky!
You're not going to get all the credit for Geiger moving "back home."
He started in Chesapeake, Va. with the Hickory and Great Bridge clubs and then Papa Dave got transferred around the world, landed in Oregon, and now heading to Illinois, which is easier for him to see Ryland wrestle at Minnesota.
The Geigers are good people, I saw Ryland wrestle his first tournament when he was at Southeastern Elementary in Chesapeake. The kid has always wrestled this wide open, attacking style. Great kid, but I'm not going to let Oregon claim him entirely. LOL
That's a Virginia boy, too!.
he might want to consider putting away the dirty nasty party cowboy hat this year and look at his options:
2. start the transfer process
3. consider going to class this year so he can get back on track to graduate.
