I was really surprised to see Ness having only 1 win over an AA (Nauman). Being a national finalist you have to have at least 1 (semifinals win). But, for as good as Ness is, it was surprising that he didn't have any other wins over AA's all year. His most impressive win clearly was his win over Parks, but that didn't count b/c Parks amazingly didn't AA.

Really impressed with these rankings so far. Not much to complain about

At first glance Chamberlain seems high, I can't see putting him over the Vermonster at minimum.

Who does this leave us with as the top 10? Taylor, Ruth, McDonough, JO, Howe, Dake, Kilgore, Stieber, and Bosak gives us nine.

    Who am I missing?

Your very own Tony Nelson I believe.

Didn't even think of him when I saw Z at #14.

As much as I love Tony I don't know if I agree with discounting the 16-5 match from last December. Until Z got hurt he looked poised to COAST to the title.

Earl said he wasn't discounting the major dec over Nelson. He thinks Z's injury problems are the reason.

    I just don't see it...David Thorn is not elite. I don't think he'll place"

Agreed x2, I forgot how bad that score was. Goodness...

I was surprised that Nelson beat Rey but I was really surprised that he was the better wrestler from beginning to end in that match. To think that someone could beat Nelson that badly last year...
