    Tom,
google Mason todd/cody Phillips New Castle semi state . Phillips was 133-0 and a 2x state champion (currently enrolled at Minnesota ) and todd gave him his first loss . Mason is a good head taller than cody .
You know, I think I would rather be a man than a god . We don't need anyone to believe in us. We just keep going anyhow. It's what we do.

Thank you! I completely forgot to include Darton. I got on my soapbox and forgot to include all of the details

According to the NFHS (National Federation of High Schools), in 2011-12 there were 338 programs and 9041 wrestlers in GA, and 136 programs and 5238 wrestlers in SC.

So, GA has almost 2x the # of HS wrestlers as SC. I'll bet its population is more than double SC's as well. Hopefully both states are on the upswing in wrestling. It sure was a shame when Clemson dropped wrestling a number of years back. It think it was right around the time that Sammie Henson graduated.

To further Tom's point about wrestling states by the number (trust me, I'm just trying to find a reason for this random thought). Sorry Tom, for using your post as a reason for this question.

Has anyone looked up or read any stats on wrestlers having siblings? I wonder because most families have fewer kids these days. There seem to be more "only children". You need a partner to wrestle. You can shoot hoops or goals by yourself. So I was wondering if most wrestlers were from larger families. I somehow got that thought through Tom's post about population.

I'm happy to be inspirational! But, I'm afraid I don't have data to answer your question. I do know, anecdotally, that it was through my older brother that I got into wrestling. Without his influence I doubt I would have done so.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say there is no data for what you're looking for Quinn. Not certain though.
To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.

I didn't think so. But I do wonder about that. I would find it interesting, at least. I may be the only though.
