I will put up with a lot. But I will be damned if I'm going to sit back and let you bad mouth the big-haired women of the 80's. Tawny Kittain, Heather Locklear and all the fine Aqua Net hotties from high school were hair and shoulders better looking than women of today.

Yes, I think so. I look for him to be on the podium. He does seem to get better each year, and his work ethic is second to none.

Of course, "stud" is a relative term, but in the case of Tanner Hiatt, what I've seen is a hard nosed, classic Iowa style kid that brings it for 7 minutes. He also has pretty good high school and freestyle credentials to go along with it.

In the case of Jarret Jensen, high school credentials and what he did this past season =stud, in any sense of the word. However, I still say that 165 is Banach's slot, until Jensen beats him out.

That's got to be the next step. He's really improved the quality of the line up but he needs to take it to the next level now. No reason why guys like Colon or Loder shouldn't be on the podium this year.

There is no reason that Colon and Loder weren't on the podium last year. I fully expect Colon to finish in the top four. I thought he was capable of it last year.

I am also very excited about Cody Caldwell. Not sure how good he will be but he was damn good in high school. Same with Hiatt, Krumwiede, Wolfensperger and pretty much the whole damn team. I have not looked at the matchups in any detail but I wouldnt be suprised if they take down the mighty Cyclones.

I'd venture to say UNI has 4 strong candidates to AA this year . Colon,Wolf, Bonin and Loder .
You know, I think I would rather be a man than a god . We don't need anyone to believe in us. We just keep going anyhow. It's what we do.

Even if he doesn't, there aren't going to be any calls for his job anytime soon. For one, he's really liked by everyone involved with the program, but, more so, this is the first year of his new recruits hitting the lineup in big numbers, so there will be a window of four years or so where these guys will be expected to produce.

As I keep saying, we'll see...

Caldwell was a beast last year in open tournaments. He's going to be a good one for sure and should make some immediate impact.

As I mentioned before, I don't expect Krumweide to beat out Beale this year. He could, but I know that Beale was beating him in the room pretty handily.
