Intermat Top 10 Wrestlers of 2000's
Solid work from Intermat here.
InterMat Wrestling - Foley: Top Ten College Wrestlers of the 2000s
1. Cael
2. Abas
3. Greg Jones
4. Askren
5. Jake Rosholt
6. TJ Williams
7. Herbert
8. Metcalf
9. Konrad
10. Pendleton
I figure if there is anything people would take umbrage with it would probably be Rosholt's ranking.

No Mocco? 4 time finalist and 2 time champ.
Re: Intermat Top 10 Wrestlers of 2000's
Gave him honorable mention. Varner with the same accolades got the same treatment.
I did a few threads like this a few years ago, let me go dig those up.

Technically, I don't think Abas and Sanderson should be on the list, as part of their careers were in the 90's, but that's a minor "glitch."
For perspective, these are all of the four timers in the 2000's (exclusively), which four time status should have been the first consideration, to me.

Re: Intermat Top 10 Wrestlers of 2000's
I would switch Askren and Greg Jones.
Then, I would bump TJ WIlliams down below Konrad, and switch Metcalf and Herbert.
1. Sanderson

3. Askren
4. Jones
5. Rosholt
6. Metcalf
7. Herbert
8. Konrad

Re: Intermat Top 10 Wrestlers of 2000's
Not many head to head results within the top 10, but it's interesting that Pendleton owned Askren yet Askren had a better overall career and is ranked higher. Doesn't necessarily change the ranking, but interesting regardless.
Re: Intermat Top 10 Wrestlers of 2000's
I would put Askren #2, just because I value how good they were at the end of their career's more than results at the beginning of the career. His Junior and Senior season are the most dominant of the decade.
I also do have an issue ranking Rosholt that high. He had fantastically clutch NCAA performances, but never had an undefeated and never was seeded #1 coming into the tournament. If the list is just about NCAA performances then he deserves the high ranking, but if you are evaluating the entire career he does not deserve to be #4. He had twenty losses. Look at the records and accomplishments of the guys behind.
