Morningstar leaves Wisconsin for Hawkeyes
Andy Hamilton just Tweeted that Morningstar has left Madison to return to Iowa City, accepting an Assistant position.
Quote:
Morningstar: "There could’ve been a hundred other schools that could’ve come after me, but the one that would make me leave is the Iowa."
Another person leaves Wisconsin. I wonder what this means for stud recruit Justin Koethe, who made it pretty clear he went to Wiscy at least partly based on his relationship with Morningstar.
Apparently, Zadick might also be out, but that is far less confirmed.
Re: Morningstar leaves Wisconsin for Hawkeyes
Who is Morningstar taking over for on the Iowa staff, what position is he filling?
Re: Morningstar leaves Wisconsin for Hawkeyes
Assistant. Zadick is out! Yipes
Re: Morningstar leaves Wisconsin for Hawkeyes
I knew about this a few days ago. I know Tom Brands was taking his time making this decision it couldn't have been easy for him.
Re: Morningstar leaves Wisconsin for Hawkeyes
Current rumor is Dan Erekson will be back as well in some capacity. Either with the HWC or S&C coach. If Zadick doesn't take the S&C position
Re: Morningstar leaves Wisconsin for Hawkeyes
Zadick might be being demoted? Going from Assistant to S&C?

Sounds like Zadick wont take it. Itd be hard to work with the guy who replaced you day in and day out. I would love to know what lead Tom to this decision, but it sounds like he sees a lot in m*. Danimal would be awesome for Bobby and Burak.

He was offered the position. It's unlikely he will take it.

Can the Strength & Conditioning coach be on the bench during matches?
