Perry pretty hilariously turned around and kicked a chair over during the Minnesota dual at National Duals too. The guy has shown he can coach, but he definitely still has a maturation process to go through. Given that he's only like 24 though chances are I think he manages to pull it off. |

I think there are a lot of potential candidates to consider. I do not believe that PSU will hire an established head coach at a major school. That is not their MO in any sport. They tend to promote assistants with a good track record, and let them develop into head coaches. I would be surprised if that is not the approach this time. having said that, I think the list of potential candidates is pretty good...starting with John Hughes, Jeremy Hunter, Josh Moore. The only head coach that I think they would look at is Tim Flynn at Edinboro. Because of the facility upgrade, this would have to be considered an upgrade for him. Although the AD at Edinboro seems to like the sport... |
