One of the most puzzling aspect of wrestlers is trying to guess their size. One guy says he's big for the weight another says he's small. I've always thought that Thorn was big for 133, but I learned a long time ago how subjective the weight guessing game is and take Eggum at his word. Having said that, Storley is a natural 165 and looks chubby at 174.
Well, he should cut to 165 and throw Yohn to the wolves at 174 because YOHN has gotten worse each year.
I tend to agree with Storley going 165 at least for this year as I heard it was easy for him to make 174 last year and 174 just seems like a more natural fit for yohn because to me he just seems like he is struggling @ 165 every year as the year gets longer and one would assume that is do to the weight cut.
To me he looks sickly and he just isn't having any fun or energy for that matter by the end of the year.
Yohn at the beginning of the year to the Yohn at the end of the year in his 3 years at the U always seems to fade about midseason and to me that has nothing to do with his talent but more to do with the weight cut. If you watch his matches as the year progresses he just seems to get less aggressive and more of a defensive type of wrestler.
When you look @ Yohn's skills he is right up there with any one in the country outside of the top 3 or 4 probably @ his weight, his problem is more to due with the weight cut in my opinion.
Yay, it's summer and Shane is stirring the pot already. Now I got a good reason to come back here occasionally to get psyched for next season.
