I got in a debate about this out there last week. I insist on All-AmericaN. I mean, after all, it's how Sandy introduces them, and Sandy cannot be wrong.

What does everyone else think?

Somebody makes All-America, they are an All-American.

it can be a noun or an adjective:

Congratulations to All-American ZAPP BRANNIGAN

or, Zapp made All-American, or Zapp IS an All-American

... earns All-American status....

I think made All-American is a common misuse of the word.

Sandy is definitely not wrong when she referred to, on multiple occasions, Missouri's 197, Max Anderson.
