I think I was the only one there. I asked the staff where the TWT party was and got a puzzled look. I did get to meeet a former ISU coach and NCAA champion from back in the 50's, so it was fun anyway.
    See you in St. Louis!

JPO fan, too funny. Would have been even more hilarious if she had said, "party? you ARE the party!"

Nooooooo lots of us were there. WrestlingTerp and I got there right around 9:30 and were the only ones there for about an hour, then people starting coming over after the session was complete.

The people there didn't know wtf was going on. When Terp and I got there, they had forgotten about our party, and then just set up an area in the back for us. Once they had forgotten about us, they were very cool and helpful, but if you got there before 9:30, they would have had no clue what you were talking about. Our waitress later asked us what the name of our party was in case people asked and we just said "The Wrestling Talk get-together". It kinda sucked because we were in the way back, so we couldn't see people coming in and maybe help them out if they looked lost.

I got there right at 9:30, and not knowing anyone thought I'd sit at the bar. Several people, none from TWT noticed my Harvard cap, and ISU hoody and commented. I lifted up the hoody and showed them my Iowa sweatshirt and said that I was just a confused wrestling fan. Well maybe next year in Omaha. Anybody scoping out spots to go?
    See you in St. Louis!
