Even if it didn't, and I take NOTHING away from Caldwell, it's impossible for the people voting for the Hodge to discount a match where he gets tech falled.

Herbert was too dominant, pinned too many people and had no losses (asterix or otherwise) to be denied for the Hodge.

Just a note of correction on Burroughs' stats. He had 15 major decisions, not 3. It's not enough to eclipse what Herbert accomplished, but there can be no doubt to anyone who watched the NCAAs or saw them in person that Burroughs was just as dangerous at 157 as Herbert was at 184, except that 184 was a weaker division.

Thanks, the original was taken from the UN stats before the NCAA records were added. It must have been a typo on their stat sheet omitting the (1).
Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

Yeah, Burroughs majored Cyler 3 times alone. On our way down to STL, we were listening to Ironside on the Iowa broadcast and he was talking about Cyler and Burroughs QF match, saying Cyler was doing the best he's seen against Burroughs, he was down 7-2 at the time.
You do the math..... I'll do the alfredo!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
