Hahahahaha I love how you throw Nickerson on the level of Herbert and Sanderson as shoo-ins... He has 1 very, very close championship so far. Not saying he shouldn't make the list...

....and getting squished like a zit by Dubuque.
Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

I'll concede that Rosholt deserves to be on this list, but my point is that he was not the all time great that his NCAA finishes indicate he is (I think 1-3-1-1). Very good wrestler who had great NCAA tournaments.

I think I'm going to wind up shuffling these guys up a little bit, but if I were to just bring the 11 guys back from my list last year in order here is how they would look.

    1. Cael Sanderson: 1/1/1/1 (159-0, 61 pins)
    2. Stephen Abas: 4/1/1/1 (144-4, 32 pins)
    3. Ben Askren: 2/2/1/1 (153-8, 91 pins)
    4. Greg Jones: 1/DNP/1/1 (126-4, 25 pins)
    5. Jake Rosholt: 1/3/1/1 (105-20, 23 pins)
    6. TJ Williams: DNW/1/3/1 (98-1, 12 pins)
    7. Steve Mocco: 2/1/1/2 (137-6, 56 pins)
    8. Joe Heskett: 3/2/2/1 (143-10, 58 pins)
    9. Mark Perry: 2/3/1/1 (101-16, 40 pins)
    10. Johnny Thompson: 2/1/1/3 (127-14, 31 pins)
    11. Johny Hendricks: 5/1/1/2 (127-13, 26 pins)

All of these guys will be on this coming list, but I say again they will in all likelihood get shuffled up a little bit.

The ultimate goal of an NCAA season is to win NCAA championships, not have the highest regular season winning percentage. If he's good enough to win 3 titles in MArch and his competitors couldn't beat him, sounds like an all-time great to me. If Burroughs repeats his season next year, then I'd be more inclined to listen to your argument.
