Try and make my job doing this a little easier.
My suggestion to you is to not look at just straight stats.
If you are trying to decide who had the best collegiate wrestling career then straight stats make sense, but if you truly want the best wrestlers, it becomes very subjective (and IMO more interesting).

For instance, Jake Rosholt, who despite his outstanding NCAA finishes was never a dominant wrestler. There was a reason he was never seeded #1 at NCAAs. I think Jordan Burroughs, based on his performance this year alone deserves to be ranked higher than Rosholt.

I'm probably going to wind up going a little more subjective with this list than I did with last year's.

Stats are still going to be a big part of it though. One of the reasons that I'm waiting on really diving into this (other than being busy) is that I'm waiting for yukiyama to update his site to make stat collection easier on me.

    Ryan Bertin, Michigan 6,1,3,1

Ryan Churella should be there also for sticking Johnny Hendricks.

    Joe Dubuque
    Travis Lee
    Mocco, Mocco Man
Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

I'd tend to disagree with your Rosholt statement. He got it done when it mattered, which I hate to admit since I hate Ok State. I haven't heard anyone mention Jaggers yet, but I'd include him for the same reason. He gets it done when it counts. Also, how about Jayson Ness? 5, 2, 3 is pretty impressive too.

I would cast a vote for Matt Valenti. Dnp, 5,1,1 for an Ivy league kid is pretty special IMO. Other than Travis Lee, I can't think of any other 2x Ivy league nat.champs in the past 10 years.
