    it was merely an exhibition

You know, you're right, bout for a NCAA Championship, merely an exhibition in Metcalf's eyes.
Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

I think any time they meet early in the season, it may tend to favor Metcalf...the later in the season it starts to swing back towards Caldwell.

Well we nearly got to see them at the world team trials. We're bound to see them run into each other eventually, although I think it will be in freestyle, not folk.

I do not think Metcalf and Caldwell will ever meet again....in college. Caldwell will redshirt or go up to 157. Metcalf would be stupid to go up to a loaded 157 - prob the toughest weight class in the nation next year. Metcalf will win 149 next year and go down with the "2" losses by spladle and ass kick in nat finals......and alot of sleepless nights.

I don't see any reason for Metcalf to move up next season and If Caldwell is redshirting, Metcalf should have a clear path to the championship. Of course most believe that this season and we saw what Caldwell did to him.
    Lets go Brent!
