Is the 197-pound Goldman Coach Goldman's son? If so, does he have anywhere near as much talent as his dad (as a wrestler that is)?

I remember seeing Goldman wrestle in college. He was quite good! Why is his coaching going so badly? And since it is going so badly, how is he staying on?

As far as last in the Big Ten, doubt it, unless they miss Michigan State in the Big Ten dual season. The Spartans graduate four of their six qualifiers from this past year, and they weren't all that good to begin with, remember.

Alas, as long as the current occupant of the collegiate head coaching position in East Lansing is there, this past year may have been a high-water mark for them in the 12-team Big Ten era. Dale Anderson is not walking in that door anytime soon.

So, what's the explanation for the MSU coach (Minkel??)staying on if the results aren't there? I gather the reason is $$$ at Indiana.
