Re: Florida Florida does seem to maintain a relatively consistent ranking in the top 5 in total and per population violent crimes.
See (State Rankings--Statistical Abstract of the United States--Violent Crime Rate) for example.
I noticed a couple of things while exploring the world of crime rates-
Alaska ranks very high. They clearly lead the league in aggravated assaults. I guess there isn't a lot to do in the winter beside beat each other up.
There are foot notes on most of the crime rate sites that state, "Includes offenses reported by the Zoological Police and the Metro Transit Police." OK, I understand the Metro Police thing. But I never thought it would be so important to include crimes that would be investigated by the Zoological Police.
Re: Florida Florida wrestling is not that bad. 3 former Florida high school wrestlers made the team (Frayer, Blanc, and Hazewinkle). Too bad Franklin Gomez never committed himself to represent the US. I feel he had a strong chance of making the team.
Florida is pretty good. The Tampa area might be your best bet. You have quite a few camps here.
