    VAIS,
I've already gone on record as saying DT is the best I've ever seen .I'm merely saying to NEVER count AH out . His only loss in high school was at 130 to Hump.Lost to Burroughs 10-7 at Midlands then comes back to AA after a supposedly season ending injury. AH is a throwback with today's skill sets.

As for the original topic of this thread -DT would beat on dake by nearly a major .
You know, I think I would rather be a man than a god . We don't need anyone to believe in us. We just keep going anyhow. It's what we do.

[QUOTE=vaisforlovers;463835][QUOTE=r.payton@att.net;463826]AH is 94-8 ( 1 Inj Def) in college -no RS , -I've watched him grow from a 130 lb freshman to a full grown 165 and I would NEVER bet against him. Although the field is so tough to get to a fresh Burroughs

This is no disrespect to Andrew. He's extremely good, but I think he would lose to DT at 165 and it might not be that close either.
I think Howe is going to get slept on by a lot of people to start the year off next year. People had gotten to the point where they were flogging the "Howe is boring" or "Howe can't score" ideas during the second half of 2011 after he came back from being hurt and given that that was the last time people really saw him I wonder how long that will keep up.

People forget that from the second half of his sophomore year until he got hurt as a junior he'd really come into his own in terms of getting to his offense.

Even if Howe and Taylor are equals on their feet (and that may be the case), Taylor wins on the mat. No doubt in my mind.

If Howe tries to ride him, Taylor will probably score a reversal. Even if Taylor can't turn Howe, he will get a riding time point.

Writing poetry is hard mental labor! And have you ever tried picking flowers during the winter? Maybe that flies in VA, but it is not easy in the colder states.

Are you implying that Im sleeping on Howe since I think Taylor is better?

No, God no. I think Taylor is better as well.

Was just commenting generally on how I think Howe may wind up being received by some people during the early part of next year.

How do you see a Taylor/Burroughs matchup play out? Or do you think that the styles are too different and DT will lose early in the Olympic Trials?

Regarding Howe's international sucess, I think he's lost to most of the really good (world medalist caliber guys). Can't seem to get his offense going and vulnerable to being outslicked. He has a bit of a ways to go IMO to become a true world class wrestler.

It wouldn't shock me at all to see Taylor pick his way through the challenge tournament and make it to Burroughs.

If/when he got to Burroughs though I think Jordan gives him the business. Burroughs in my mind has the perfect style for the current freestyle rules.
