Russ, I"m sure that there is a 12 step program for this type of serious illness. I went to KU; did I watch the game last nite? Hell no!!! No wrestling fanatic would do something that horrid. How could I live with myself.
    Get some help, STAT, friend!

    I'm not a wrestling fanatic.
You know, I think I would rather be a man than a god . We don't need anyone to believe in us. We just keep going anyhow. It's what we do.

Really? You think those 54-50 slugfests are a result of good defense? No. There are no elite scorers in college Bball. Too many 1 and done's, and high school kids going early. Thats why you see all these seemingly "crazy" upsets like 2 seeds going down, when the actuality is that none of the teams are that great so they're all vulnerable.

Many say there is no defense in the NBA, when the reality is that it is very hard to defend a 6'8 guy with elite running, jumping, ball handling and shooting skills. I'd rather watch a sport at it's highest level, with amazing athletes than the ncaa's ridiculous tournament of 68 teams.

I agree with everything here. The college game is half as good as it used to be but CBS and the NCAA keep shoving this mess of a game down our throats. It's no longer a good product.

Growing up in indiana I learned to play at about age 5 . EVERYONE in indiana knows the game . IMO, girls college ball is much purer than Men,s . The girls teams run plays and are much better shooters than men's-simply because they cannot dunk and play together as a team rather than one superstar and 4 scrubs

If I watched either one anymore, it would probably be the NBA because of the reasons you mentioned. It just doesn't seem to have the same excitement as it did with Bird, Magic, Jordan, Dr. J.....But around here there are crazy college fans. I mean to the point of fisticuffs if you are a Cincinnati fan in a mostly Kentucky bar, or a Xavier fan on the wrong side of the city. I just don't know of anyone who watches the NBA.

NBA is more popular in cities/urban areas. Most suburbs/country folk prefer ncaa bball. Theyre more relatable I suppose. But if you cant appreciate the greatness of Kobe, the unique talent that Lebron is and the fluidity and grace of Durants game I dont know if you really gave it a chance. Lebron is probably the greatest physical talent of all time.

I think maybe I don't like it because of the player's personalities. Everyone these days are so into self promotion that it turns me off. Same thing with NFL players dancing around after a routine tackle. I realize players are off the charts when it comes to physical ability, but I liked seeing Bird out smart someone or Rambis out hustle someone. Even as "flashy" as Magic, Jordan and Dr. J were, they didn't seem as arrogant to me. It's petty, I know, but it just really bugs me.
