DT? Dake? Howe? Caldwell?
I think DT is coming for the spot and will make it very interesting. Don't know if anyone can beat that beast though.

I am going to say no. I watched his World's matches and he is just on another level. Having beat the best in the world for a gold medal, I doubt DT really scares him that much or puts any doubt in his mind he can win. But you never know, DT beating him wouldn't shock me either.
College rules or freestyle?
It's really tough seeing anyone get the best of Burroughs in freestyle with his TD skills.
I think Dake would fare the worst.
My guess is that Howe would win 2 or 3 out of 10 matches. Taylor 3 or 4.
The most interesting matchup in my mind would be Taylor. I could see Burroughs trying to operate in open space which should limit Taylor's set ups. Going strictly on memory, I think most of the TDs Taylor gave up this year were to guys shot from open space. I don't think he cared too much because he knew he could score on the mat and again once they were on their feet. In FS, that strategy would have to change, but I can't imagine how he would do since we haven't really seen it.
I think Vai is referring to freestyle only.
No, not this year. In the future I like the US at this weight with Howe, Dake, DT, Burroughs, Ruth. Could be some AWESOME trials.
Freestyle. Sorry, I know I could post this in the international section, but I feel like more eyes will come across it here.
I think that if you give DT a few years in FS he could beat JB. Like say 2016. Not now though. Time will tell.
I don't see DT beating Burroughs at this time. DT's style is not refined yet for freestyle--he likes to roll around too much. On straight-up TD shots it's really hard to beat Burroughs. He's seasoned and I don't see DT taking him at this time. Give him a few years of focusing on freestyle and I might change that. But not right now. I don't see any college guys right now beating Burroughs in freestyle.
