Brunson is an absolute stud. He wrestled my cousin in the state finals and just tore him up.

yea thats a good class there. They might crack the top 3 in 3 years with that.

I think Fahy redshirts and Caleb Ervin starts at 149 instead. Don't quote me on that since I haven't talked to either of them about it. Both are great wrestlers and I believe Caleb won some opens he wrestled in this year.

Wasn't Caleb Ervin at App State for a time, or am I thinking of someone else?

Edit: Just checked, must have been thinking of someone else

I hope that Brunson takes a RS year. We focus a lot on international styles in the NW and it takes guys a bit to adjust to college level wrestling.

With proven seniors at 174 & 184, I can't see any situation where Brunson doesn't redshirt.

Illinois might crack the top 10 next year but I can't see how they are possibly in the hunt. They dont look like a team with many or any title contenders, just a bunch of fringe AA type guys

I'm interested to see how Gonzalez does. He looked really good before his injury last year. One more year of progress with his athletic ability puts him solidly on my watch list.

With Ruth moving up and Amuch graduating, I'd consider Blanton to be a title contender.
