I'm just not sure who it would be.
I'm thinking that Kyle Dake and Andrew Howe might be willing to volunteer for that duty.

you don't have to forget about the jenkins match, just understand that it was 98-99% fluke.

I wouldn't say that Bubba's win was a fluke. His pinning move was a legitimate move and he deserved to win. Now, is Bubba as good a wrestler as DT--no where close overall. But Bubba has a high ceiling to his potential and can wrestle great at times. But I think a huge factor was that Bubba and DT had trained together. DT did not wrestle at all like he normally does--much more cautious! He wasn't in the least intimidated by Fittery (a stud) in the semis, but he didn't do much against Jenkins. It was a bit like Wright vs Bosak in the finals this year--2 guys who have trained together results in a much different match.

You know, I think I would rather be a man than a god . We don't need anyone to believe in us. We just keep going anyhow. It's what we do.

It's hard for me to type this without sounding wierd but Wright is not on the same level as Ruth or Taylor. He is an absolute stud and a 3 time AA and two time finalist, but he does not dominate the way Ruth and Taylor do. I fully expect him to have another great year next year and have a strong chance of winning another NCAA title but i don't see him as the "sure" things that Taylor and Ruth are.

A big reason Wright doesn't dominate as much as Ruth and Taylor do is that Wright is in an absolutely loaded weight class. You can add Travis Rutt(AA) from Wisconsin to the mix at 184 next year as well.

174 was almost as tough as 184 this year and ruth majored his guy in the finals. I'll agree that QW is in a nasty weight, but I dont think you can compare him to ER or DT on a pure talent level either. He doesn't have the ability to score at will like those guys do

When was the last time ruth or Taylor went to overtime?
    Gold is an idiot.

I agree with you that Wright isn't on level with Ruth and Taylor, but as far as this point. No, it wasn't.

The Cornell site is wrong then. Unless I've gone batshit crazy, I'm 99% certain that Bosak is a junior wrestling-wise.
