I always wonder how they handle success or if one gets injured (Dustin Schlatter). That being said these are pretty classy kids with great work ethics it appears.

They both talk about wrestling as fun. Of course, it's a lot more fun winning than losing. But I wrestled for 10 years. I love the sport. But I would never have described wrestling as "fun". Rewarding, character building, excellent training, satisfying, manly, etc etc. . . but not fun. That's a word that resonates from all the team. It's part of Cael's coaching philosophy. It's different. Is that making a difference in these guys' performance? I don't know. But it doesn't seem to be hurting.
I am hoping someone steps up in those weight classes the same way Stieber and Ramos did this year at 133. If Oliver can make 133 again nexyt year that weight will have the best top end talent in the country. I am hoping someone steps up and challenges Taylor and Ruth in a similar fashion. I'm just not sure who it would be.
Exactly, every year someone comes along and shocks people, or one of the top notch guys has a bad match. Metcalf lost to Caldwell in the finals, and Palmer at B10s. There's always a surprise. The smart money is definitely on Ruth and Taylor to repeat but it is definitely not a sure thing.
Going up will create variables as well for Ruth and QW. I think Ruth's success will translate well to 184 but those cradles may not be as fast and furious. That being said he's a killer from his feet so though I expect his bonus to perhaps take a dip, I think he still has plenty to win that weight class as well.

Amuch is a pretty strong kid & Ed just Xfacd those cradles on him 3 maybe 4xs. Powered them. Guys KNOW its coming & they cant stop it. Ed was hitting it from every pos yesterday even standing (the 1st one). Put ten lbs of mostly muscle on Ed & I think some 84ers next year might be cutting weight.
15 of the top 20 guys are at 184 btw are coming back:
1 Joe LeBlanc Jr. Wyoming
