I'm guessing you'd do winner's bracket only (not wrestlebacks)? It would be less complicated

I would probably do just winners bracket the first year. Or hey, I got a full year. I may try to do it all.

I would probably do both contests unless Rstrong wants to take over the Pickem contest next year on his website.

No I am just a hard work man. You do not need to refer to me as Royalty. Hardest part would be setting up the bracket to be automated. Filling the names would be pretty easy.

Then getting it to score each one. Each entry form would be 1 page per weight class or 10 pages plus a rules and instruction page.

    Whippet,

I have copied and pasted (sorry about the old names) below the first actual pick'em's contest that we used to hold on the old mat.com. It was started and developed by Adam Tirapelle, and was a great contest for all to enter.

    Take a look at it.

    (1) Pick ALL 8 All-Americans at each weight class in orderof finish. Be sure to Include thewrestler’s school in your picks. Example:

    133

    1. Jayne

    2. Lee

    3. Bunch

    4. Reiter

    5. Morgan

    6. Ciasulli

    7. Moos

    8. Griffin

    (2) You score 10points for each correct All-American pick, and then subtract the number ofplaces you were off from their ACTUAL finish. Therefore, All-Americanpicks are crucial but the bonus points are picked up with the correctordering. 6 of 8 at a weight class is considered good and should give you40-50 points. Example:

    Final 133 results

    1. Reiter = 7

    2. Jayne = 9

    3. Clum = 0

    4. Bunch = 9

    5. Morgan = 10

    6. Jorgensen = 0

    7. Griffin = 9

    8. Lee = 4

    TOTAL = 48

    (3) To encouragevariety in picks, each pick not currently ranked in the Top 8 using WINMagazine’s final March 8th rankings (http://www.intermatwrestle.com/news/newsdisplay.aspx?ID=3013)will receive bonus points. In addition to the scoring above in (2), anypick not ranked in the Top 8 in the above rankings will also receive the numberof points between their ranking and their actual placing. Put the rankingin parenthesis next to the name. If you pick someone not ranked in the Top20, consider them ranked #21. Example:

    133

    1. Jayne

    2. Lee

    3. Bunch

    4. Reiter

    5. Morgan (#9)

    6. Ciasulli

    7. Moos (#15)

    8. Griffin (#18)

    Final 133 results

    1. Reiter = 7

    2. Jayne = 9

    3. Clum = 0

    4. Bunch = 9

    5. Morgan = 10 + 4

    6. Jorgensen = 0

    7. Griffin = 9 + 11

    8. Lee = 4

    TOTAL = 48 + 15 =63

    (4) Tiebreaker ismost bonus points from (3), gained by picking people NOT ranked in the Top8. Second tiebreaker is most correct All-Americans in the correct spot (ie10-point picks). Third tiebreaker is number of correct first placefinishers

Jeez, I thought everyone filled them out to get to the AA's. I did, so I guess I'd be in for this one too.

Sounds like a lot of manual work which I was trying to get away from. The last two would be manual work for me to figure everyone's guesses.
