I used to wrestle for Foxcatcher and will be very interested to see the way this is done.
I wish I could kick Matt Dragon in the balls. In his Dragonballz.

I know the company that is financing the film (Media Rights Capital) so they will see most of the profits. They would have to have gotten the rights from most probably du Pont's estate, so who ever controls the estate (lawyers, ex-wives etc) will see the money. They may have gotten around the estate by basing it on a book or news story? Or Nancy Schultz? Anyway, the film would have to generate a lot to see any profit paid to the rights holder except for the initial rights option and purchase if it goes into production. I will attempt to get a copy of the script and see how Dave and the sport is portrayed. Expect it to be a dark story about a deranged man.

Which Du Pont wouldn't be in need of money? John got his pants sued off for the wrongful death.

    What a sad story.

There are some great tales about Schultz out there I should share one.. Matt Demaray told me one about how he and Dave were heading back to the du Pont compound after a good practice and Dave spotted a pheasant. Schultz pulled over and blasted it for their dinner that night. Dave Prepared it.

Did a quick google news search RE "John E. duPont" and only one article popped up...

In a June 15 story from the Des Moines Register that was (mostly) about Doug Schwab and Harry Lester at the 2008 US Olympic Trials, here's the tidbit of interest...

Adding star power to the evening in Vegas, former Hawkeye and actor Ashton Kutcher was in attendance, sitting next to wrestling great Dan Gable. Kutcher is apparently under consideration for a part in a movie project about the 1996 murder of wrestling great Dave Schultz by benefactor John E. duPont.

So... will Kooch be Dave? Or John?

Things are getting weirder and weirder.
