This will make a perfect signature, thank you.

This team was supposed to be good and they are. Cael had some pretty good freshmen/sophomores last year as well, btw(wasn't coach of the year). He's done a great job no doubt, but for me, exceeding expectations is paramount, and for me he hasn't. This is more homering on your part than me hating. You know me, I try to be fairly unbiased for a "fan" of a particular team. By the way, a healthy Gelogaev prevents you from bringing this up imo.

Really Tom Ryan is just as much in the discussion by that token considering he's starting something absurd like 8 freshmen and has a really tough team.
It's not homering, I chose Branch and Heffernan at the moment. And you starting the Gelogaev thing just makes it sound more absurd. If JD is there that match goes the other way and it's 21-10? If Ness finishes that match its 24-7. We can do this all night long. We beat the team they put on the mat, what else can you do?

Indiana Wrestling's all-time winningest coach, Duane Goldman, reached another coaching milestone Friday night; earning career victory number 250 as his Hoosiers defeated South Dakota State, 30-8, at a neutral site. Indiana would go to sweep the tri-meet hosted by SIUE, topping the Cougars in the night cap, 31-13.HA ! Awesome .

You make a good point, Vais. I'm not necessarily saying JRob should get it. I guess I'm saying that the team (and the coach usually gets the credit) did a good job in coming back twice--after a very surprising tough loss to Cornell (that I still can't understand) to soundly beat PSU 2 days later. Then to lose to Iowa and OSU in the duals only to come back and beat them in the National Duals. They definitely got a break against OSU with the loss of Gelogaev. But he seemed to bring his team back from some disappointing losses to peak at right times. That's all I'm saying. I agree that most of their wrestlers (with the possible exception of the Dardaneses) have done about what was expected.
