Not trying tonbe a j rob hater at all, but tell me which individuals have prodiced results beyond what was already expected? Minny is exactly who I thought theyd be coming into the year: a tough dual team that lacks the firepower to win a title. Im interested to hear a legit argument for J Rob as coach of the year.
Go Hawkeyes.
And iowa let em off the hook. If you wanna crown em..

With four freshman ranked in the top ten, a retired Jake Deitchler, 3 sophomores and wins over two #1 teams I think you are showing some naïveté not giving him some consideration Vais.

Sorry, but for me freshmen(especially big recruits like dardanes, dardanes, ness and Storley) performing is becoming more of a norm now than anything. Those 4 were supposed to be good right away and they have been. Also, if only 2 or so of them wind up on the podium( a real possibility) it's less of a big deal. I'm not being naive in the least. This team was supposed to be good and they are. Cael had some pretty good freshmen/sophomores last year as well, btw(wasn't coach of the year). He's done a great job no doubt, but for me, exceeding expectations is paramount, and for me he hasn't. This is more homering on your part than me hating. You know me, I try to be fairly unbiased for a "fan" of a particular team. By the way, a healthy Gelogaev prevents you from bringing this up imo.
Really Tom Ryan is just as much in the discussion by that token considering he's starting something absurd like 8 freshmen and has a really tough team.
Go Hawkeyes.
