Derek St. John looked much better last weekend, but not AA quality I don't think. Don't know if he can get back to that level by Big 10s or NCAA's. Telford just doesn't look the same. Not sure what happened.
I will reserve judgement on DSJ until he wrestles at Big 10's. If I had to say today DSJ will be an AA. I really think he is holding back until he knows he can't hold back. What I mean by that is he wants to make the NCAA's but if he gets hurt before the Big 10's he doesn't have a shot at NCAA. I think he will be an AA but not a finalist which he was going to be before injury. Telford has 2 weeks to get things together otherwise we are in deep trouble. He isn't wrestling very well and hasn't since the Z match. We need more leg attacks from him like earlier this year.

Its really tough. I have a few kids who fool around with a variation of it, but its pretty tough to hit.

I trust Brands will have the guys at their best and that there is lots od "communication" going on right now between the coaches and athletes.

I've seen guys hit a standing version of it counter a single where they wind up in the same finishing position. He's the only guy I've ever seen hit it down on the mat from that ankle whizzer though.

My wrestling partner in college is a PA kid and he showed me how to hit the tilt. He says it is huge in PA

You got a video link for the standing version? I've seen some good coaching videos on the "jerimah johnson", but not from a standing position. Do they have a name for the standing version?
