I don't mean this as a slight to Central Michigan in any way, but it is a statement that CMU clobbered a team from the best wrestling conference in the country.

Hinton isn't easy to score upon so Bennett must be turning it up a notch.

The worst team from the best conference got from one of the best teams from the fourth(?) best conference.

Its a rebuilding year for CMU too with Trice, Sentes, and Cubberly all redshirting. Of the new guys, freshman Ottinger has been impressive. Bennet is brutal, and fun to watch like a car wreck. I find myself covering one eye and feeling sorry for the guy who he just hurts over to his back.

CMU has been beating MSU pretty regularly for half a decade or so...

Edit - Looks like they won 11 straight

Central is starting a number of true freshman this year. I think with the redshirts returning next year Central could have a very special year. With the youngsters competing this year CMU is creating depth and will have a very strong team for the next several years. These are exciting times to be Chippewa!

Bennett is awesome on top. They'll be tough next year with Scotti and dough boy back in the line up.

Isn't Hinton like a 6th year senior by now or am I just getting old and senile?
