Last week Hunter w/ Russell, and now Heflin with Perry. Pretty pathetic really.

    Go Hawkeyes.

Or it could have simply been the same lineup they've been using when Magrum is injured. You know, the lineup they used to beat Iowa.

You may be right, but I'm betting it had more to do with Magrum not being able to go.

I wouldn't bet on people buying into that. For some reason a lot of Hawkeye fans go crazy when talking about Tom Ryan.

Other than Cael there really isn't anyone in the sport (that I can think of off hand) that provokes as strong a negative reaction from many of them.

I like and respect the heck out of both coaches, but it's painful to watch a dual with the both of them because of all the complaining and bitching to refs.

When RYAN was arguing during the screwing of Zeerip i was kinda shocked -there is a huge difference between standing up for your kids than arguing a BS call.

That enough of this crap. I don't think you know what Ryan was or was not arguing. Give me a friggin transcirpt of everything that was said during that entire time by everyone before you even think of casting stones at one individual.

Everyone knows I'm a Buckeye homer. But I am not even naive enough to think Ryan was trying to say that the ref should have given a reversal or the escape and takedown. He was arguing for his team, not what should have been the right call. I don't think his argument influenced the refs because they seemed clueless at that point. But I have to agree that arguing it in the first place was a bit ridiculous. I read some who said they were there and he was arguing that a whistle blew after the escape but before the takedown. Didn't happen. But if it did, then time should have been put back on the clock. It wasn't. He had no argument at all. I simply chalk it up to karma because NO ONE LIKES MICHIGAN. But we both know it was the wrong call and Ryan had no argument at all. I think it's best to just sit back and take this one. It worked out for us and Heflin.

They could have protected their seeds against Iowa, but there was no need.

I've thought tOSU has been protecting seeds for a little while now, especially with Heflin.
