What? Over? Did you say over? Nothing is over until I decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?! Hell No! And it aint over now!

As a Gopher fan its kind of fun to just throw out a "Brands sucks" or a "Cael sucks" and watch the Piranha go at each other. Anyway, both programs, doing great things for the sport. Both great coaches who seem to get the most out of their kids and great recruiters. They are both great for the sport.

For example, Cael brought three wrestlers with him from ISU, one his brother, and two red-shirting freshmen. Brands brought five wrestlers with him from VT. Which hurt the program the coach was leaving more?

Everyone else thinks the Brands have the worst matside behavior in college wrestling. Not everyone is immune to bad behavior, but the Brands set the standard. Yeah, I know. You're right and everyone else in the college wrestling world is wrong.

When you are wearing them, you think transferring wrestlers having to sit out a year unless they are released by their prior school is a "penalty" when it happens to Iowa transfers. It's not a penalty; it's the rule. And if you think VT was so peachy with Brands leaving, why did they not release all those wrestlers? That's right - because they were *not* ok with the move.

You don't realize that the comparison to the Yankees isn't exactly correct. It's the Yankees with a really entitled attitude that is more apt.
Steve just have to tell you that this "topic" is basically a battlefield of dead horses...

Remember that Cael is from Utah and still a bit backward in some respects with the small school/State attitude of 'the world revolves around me'. Not an attention whore, he shys back from it a bit while at the same time seeming to want everyone to watch him.
His recent "I'll be an Olympican again" is just one more attention getting device to help recruiting for Penn State. His not attending the National Duals in favor of wrestling at Utah Valley University is nice for UVU in some respects but... with more time to prepare and schedule for next year he should come on board early and loudly.
JRobb is to be commended for his efforts and it is time for Coach Sanderson to get involved, push this tournament with his input, insight and full support and help make it a premier event. Get the NCAA on board and make it a Dual Title Tournament worthy of the participation of everyone.

I wonder if Cael will call and congratulate J. Robinson for his National Team Dual Championship?
