Re: Iowa 39 Wisconsin 3
Nice pin by Evans. When I saw the final score I assumed that Jordan had upset Evans. Wrong! Evans is really coming along. I guess Gambrall is on his way down to 184. Will he be there by the national duals? I would assume yes.
With DSJ and Telford back, Iowa will have a different lineup for the national duals.

I wouldnt want to face Mike Evans right now. He's wrestling with a ton of confidence and can beat anyone when he is at his best.

How can you not love Mike Evans? The dude is a stone cold killer. Besides that head scratcher to Garcia he has more than lived up to the hype. I expect him to be top 5 at NCAAs

l agree, the dude is a BEAST on top. I say he has a lot of trouble with Andrew Sorenson, who is extremely solid and will not pick down against Evans. Has already secured one takedown on Evans and Sorenson has been improving steadily all season.
I hate Evans as he has held Taylor to his only meaningful decision all year, however I love Evans because he is fun to watch in the top position.

Re: Iowa 39 Wisconsin 3
His match with Sorenson was early in the season. Evans has improved a lot since then. But your right, Sorenson is no slouch. They may get a rematch next weekend at the regionals and I wouldnt bet against either of them.

Re: Iowa 39 Wisconsin 3
UW Whitewater would have beat them with this line up! Wow! What happened to Cole Schmidt?
-
Re: Iowa 39 Wisconsin 3
Someone posted on another thread that Schmidt is no longer on the team.

Schmitt is off the team, I don't know why.
