Thread: Molinaro vs Grajales

I think Molinaro was similar last year to this in style--it's just that this year he is an upgraded version. He is really focused on wanting to win a title and has taken his game up a couple of notches. He's wrestling with a lot of confidence.

He was tough and confident last year as well until he ran into Dake! DC

DC--I'll agree with you to a certain extent. I don't think Molinaro this year beats Dake, although I'm sure he would do better. But Molinaro is dominating this year in a way that he not infrequently didn't last year. He is definitely better this year and with more confidence (of course the 2 often go together!).

I wonder if anyone on this board has any statistics on this?

I think Molinaro is the same guy I saw last year, he'll win it this time.

FTN--I haven't taken the time to research the question. But will submit 2 examples--Molinaro lost to Mason last year once, and he had a very narrow 1-point win over Zilverburg in the dual (he did MD him at the B1G's). Frank hasn't had any close matches this year. His "lapses" have been in going for MD's like against Ness in the dual, but still won 16-10.
