Apparently Bonson was too, but I guess he's okay since Garland is on the at large committee.

Morrison has the wins this year to deserve an ncaa berth IMO, however I definitely dont think Triggas should have gotten one. He's been pretty marginal this year and went 0-2 at B10s.

The B12 did get a ridiculous amount of qualifiers, who were the 8 who got left behind? Its hard to argue with them sending 5 at a few weights when they have for example the #1, #2, #3 guys at heavyweight, and then two more who are in the top 20.
    Gold is an idiot.

The only way a guy doesn't wrestle at nationals is because he is so hurt that he can't make weight. I have seen some very injured wrestlers at nationals.

I am amazed Molinaro from Penn State snuck through. Barely a winning record, was horrible against B10 competition. Betcha he was looking forward to eating the next two weeks.
Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

I agree ,If Accordino had to get an invite -after he thumped Molinaro 12-4--I thought for sure Molinaro would be staying home .

I am also glad Riley Orozco got a bid -started the year at 197 then when halsey became eligible he lost his spot and instead of pissing and moaning about it he made a quick, big cut to 184 and ended up the year with 27 wins losing twice to Smith-- -2-1 in the Pac 10 finals .And he wasn't the one stalling .
I know Smith is supposed to be all that and all-but would you PAY to watch him wrestle ??

he tweaked his knee pretty bad but I don't think anything was torn, so I would imagine he'll give it a go. Like Karamazov said, I think most guys feel like if they can stand up, they try to wrestle.

I think Scotton might have torn something which is why I don't feel as certain that he could make it. He couldn't put any weight at all on that leg.

Once again I'm proven wrong. Scotton is going to wrestle.
