not saying they're as tough or dominate but when they are at the top of their games mcdonough and ramos and marion are a tough way to open a dual. i do admit marion is not up to par as of yet even if he will be and for some reason ramos is not always respected as a top tier guy and he is in a tough weight class but when they are on they are fairly dominate imo.

    118 Jessie Whitmer
    126 Mike Mena
    134 Mark Ironside
    142 Kasey Gillis
    150 Lincoln McIlravy
    158 Joe Williams
    167 Mike Uker
    177 Tony Ersland
    190 Lee Fullhart
    HWT Wes Hand

I would take 118, 126, and 134. But all ten work look just fine.

It'll be interesting to see how things play out by the end of the year.

118-134 in that line up was great with two champs and a runner up, but if Taylor and Ruth run the table in my mind you'd have to give serious consideration to the Penn State group even if Wright doesn't make the final.

I think Taylor, Ruth and Wright are a tremendous trio. I think they are better than Whittmer, Mena and Ironside. Wittmer himself had six losses that season. I would have to look long and hard to find a trio better than the PSU three.

Without looking for the actual roster I think I am correct in the years and lineup. Somebody can correct me if I am wrong.

    118: Zaputil
    126: Brands
    134: Brands

Just a step down would be the Monroeville Trio. Steiber, Steiber, Tessari.
Add Nick Roberts as a potential to knock DiJulius out at 125 next year. Wow!!

Brands, Brands, Steiner in the 91-92 season. All three #1 seeds at NCAA, all three champs.
