That's fine but Minny will be there and it gives you a chance to get some revenge on the one team who can lay claim to beating you in a fair dual. Also don't whine about not being the true dual team champions if MN is fortunate enough to win because we'll have the head to head win as well as a Nittany Lion no-show. I'm looking forward to another crack at Ok State and Iowa if the planets align for this.

gofer--I've been mostly staying out of the PSU/National Duals issue. A big part of that is that I would really love to see PSU in it. I think I speak for all PSU fans that we wish our team was in it. You know, of course, that the decision was made long before the current season, so current season results played no role in the decision. I have no problem with Minnesota being declared the B1G dual season winner. Their records are the same and they won the head-on-head. Now we will see who can we the B1G's and NCAA's.

Fair enough, if you agree that that is the measure of a true team championship. I like the head to head dual myself. Kind of wish the NCAAs the way they do them now only determined individual champions and the duals determined the team championship. That's the way it's done in MN highschool. Two separate tournaments run concurrently. It's a meat grinder. I just think Minny, Okie State, Iowa and Penn State this year are very intriguing dual team match-ups.

In a tournament scored championship I certainly favor Penn State, without a doubt. BTW, I think Utah would have understood had Cael asked to reschedule. He was aware this tournament was in the workings and in the past it has been on the schedule for one weekend for the last decade.

And no, I'm not blaming you the "fans" one bit. I can tell from general reactions you want another piece of MN, that's a great competitive spirit, just like me wanting another shot at Iowa, Okie State and Iowa.

You want two more shots at Iowa? Just to try and double up so it doesn't take 25 years to balance Ws and Ls? That could backfire.

Since we're talking about hypothetical additional duals--I really wish PSU wrestled Ok St this year. I wish we wrestled them every year, like we did for a while in the past. Minn and Iowa get to do it. I'd like for us to have that as a home-away regular dual. Cornell too, like we used to do. The problem, of course, is that you can only have so many duals/dates. I know that Cael wants to give a certain priority to PA schools on the dual schedule, and I can understand his reasoning. But I wish OSU and Cornell were on the schedule every year.
